Story
Venkataswamy (Prakash Raj) is a politician and her daughter vyra vasundara (Ramyakrishna) she gets married to Satyam (Jayaram) and then she leaves his son Mahesh Babu (Ramana) at the age of 10 years in Guntur.she comes to hyderabad then she will be taking oath as minister, her second marriage is with Narayan (roa ramesh) they have a son named Rajagopal (Rahul Ravindran). Venkataswamy claims that Rajagopal is his rightful successor and tries to get him to contest the elections. after many years they will call ramana to hyderabad to sign on bond papers to seperate from her mother permanently.
Then Venkataswamy's advocate Paani (Murali Sharma) sends his daughter Ammulu (Sreeleela) to Guntur with Balu (Vennela Kishore) saying that he will sign with Ramana anyway. finally ramana signed on bond? vasundara is back to guntur again? to know the full story you need to watch the guntur kaaram.Performances
Mahesh babu did gave 100 percentage efforts, compared to last previous films his makeover is completely different in guntur kaaram especially his dialogue modulation, emotions and energy was terrific, also he danced very well, in kurchi madathapetti song he did fantastic opposite to sreeleela. Sreeleela looks charm she performed well for the given role, meenakshi chaudhary character is limited though she is good, Prakash raj and ramya krishna given their best, vennela kishore did his comedy with mahesh babu he was amazing on screen, roa ramesh, jagapathi babu, rahul ravindran are lived upto their characters.
